In 2006, a group of wanderlust hippies in Eugene dreamed of a place to welcome travelers of all backgrounds to the epicenter of hippie culture, the Whiteaker.
Thus the Eugene Lodge and Intl Hostel was born.

A very unique experience. Looks like we're back in 1968. The hippie neighborhood is interesting. Young people can come here to find the shadows of the American Golden Age.
Maybe the coolest place I've ever stayed. The backyard is gorgeous in the most bohemian, funky, community way possible, with an awesome giant chessboard and tons of seating meant to promote chill chats. Definitely worth it for the price.
Great hostel-style place. Neat, tidy, and comfortable. Absolutely better than a conventional hostel.
