Our Policies

Please review policies these before you stay!


Check-In Time: 3 PM Until 10 PM

Check-Out Time: 7AM Until 11 AM, Key Drop Available

Before completing your reservation, please read the following policies regarding guests staying at the Eugene Lodge and International Hostel, Eugene OR.


  1. We cannot accept same-day reservations after 9:00 pm PST.

  2. Guests must be 18 years old and over.

  3. The Hostel accepts reservations from travelers only. Local residents of Eugene/Springfield, and the Lane County area are not eligible to stay. 

  4. There is a 14 night maximum stay for guests, 7 nights for residents of Oregon.

  5. We charge a refundable towel and key deposit of $20 upon arrival.

  6. We only accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. No cash.

  7. We do not allow 3rd party reservations (the reserving party must be a staying guest for the part or all of a reservation).

  8. We require a first night deposit upon booking for all stays.

  9. No pets allowed. Guests with service animals are welcome. We require service animals handlers book private rooms as our dorms are not able to accommodate animals. All service animals will be held to ADA standards regarding identification, handling, and damages.

  10. Check-in is between 3pm-10pm. We will not be able to serve you if you arrive outside of our check-in window, unless you communicate prior. Late fees may be assessed for these special situations (which go directly to the work trader helping you). We reserve the right to refuse check in past 1am.

  11. Check-out is between 7am-11am. We will assess a late fee (which goes directly to our work traders) for any guests checking out past 11am.

  12. While on the premises, you must only consume legal substances responsibly and in moderation. Underage consumption is forbidden, and providers of substances to minors will hold all liability.

  13. Smoking is allowed in ONLY our designated smoking areas.

  14. Fees may be assessed for any damage to the property, including but not limited to food waste in rooms, foul odors, mess, and intentional abandonment of possessions.

  15. If a guest's behavior is unsafe and/or disruptive, they will be asked to leave.

  16. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

  17. We do not accept responsibility for any personal mail sent to the business, exceptions may be made if there is prior communication. 

Cancellation Policy


Guests must cancel their reservation 48hrs before 3pm on their date of arrival. Please call us on +1 541-343-3335 or email to confirm the cancellation.


If you book through a 3rd party booking site, you must cancel THROUGH that same site. We are unable to process refunds from booking engines without this step. 

The Eugene Lodge and Intl Hostel is not responsible for refunds on fees assessed from 3rd party booking sites (i.e. Airbnb,, Expedia, etc.)

Cancellations made 48hrs before will be given a full refund, otherwise you will be charged for the first night's stay.

Luggage Holding Policy

  1. You must be a guest with a reservation.

  2. You must have paid for the entirety of your reservation prior to luggage being accepted for hold.

  3. There is an 24 hour holding fee at $20/day, minimum charge of $20. Additional days will be charged to your card on file.

  4. We will hold a maximum of 3 bags (no carts or other unconventional luggage).

  5. If you do not return to claim your luggage we will attempt to call and email you. If you do not provide this information, we are not responsible to seek out your additional contact information.

  6. If items are left at the property 24 hours after attempted contact, they will be considered abandoned and subject to applicable Oregon laws.

  7. Luggage is stored in our locked back office and labeled with your name.

  8. Luggage will not be stored without the completion of the Luggage Holding Form, which will be sent via SMS/Whatsapp/Email after you book your reservation and complete your registration card.

Communications Privacy Policy

By booking, you authorize Eugene Lodge and International Hostel to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message/data rates may apply.  Consent is not a condition of purchase.
